4. Finish watching all 6 seasons of Lost

Oh man, you guys. I wish I had taken all of your advice when you told me not to waste my time. I cannot believe I spent the last four months watching this show and am still left with all of these unanswered questions. And, trust me, I know bad television! I have watched most of them. Case in point. But this one? It’s just the worst.

Okay, okay…there were some things that weren’t terrible about watching it. Like this gorgeous man. Thank you, ABC. Seriously. Thank. You. Seasons 1 and 2 also weren’t terrible. They were good enough to keep me (and a lot of other viewers) coming back for more. Although, Matthew Fox without a shirt will do that to a person. Even Season 3 wasn’t that bad. But then things derailed and they could not get back on track. I think the writers strike had something to do with the derailment, but seriously…who knows what they were thinking.

Okay, now…spoiler alert…

Things got really weird for me when they tried to move the island. Come. On. And then they started time traveling and got stuck in the 70’s for a while. And then in the last episode, they all meet up again…the living and the people who had died. But before that there was this alternate story line going on that shows what would have happened if the plane had landed. And somehow these people were all still connected, even people who weren’t actually on the plane, but were from the island (like Juliet). And then they touch and then they remember the island and all meet up at a church and everyone is happy and shit. And I’m left here thinking W.T.F.

So, if you watched Lost and understand the story they were telling (and I don’t mean the religious connections, I got those), please enlighten me. Because the way it ended, when they showed the wreckage of the plane, it made me think that they all died on the plane. And that I spent the last few months watching a show in which people died in a plane crash and were stuck in purgatory. I’m hoping I’m wrong.

Then again, I guess it wasn’t a complete waste of time…
